of Villa Rica, Georgia, was established in 1826 as a gold mining town. In fact, the name Villa Rica is translated
to mean "rich city."

Rica is located approximately 30 miles from Atlanta, in close proximately of Six Flags over Georgia and Talladega Speedway,
along Interstate 20 (I-20).
